Great news all round, the ECU is Denso and not Mitsubishi as previously feared! Most importantly we have every suspicion that this will be the first Mazda MX-5 model to exceed 200BHP without camshaft changes, a BBR Super 200 without cams??
Dyno results shown both standard and BBR mapped with 99 octane and no hardware changes (WHP included for US followers). Exciting times, we may yet improve a little, but are fairly confident with our result after 3 hours that we are 99% there. No further time this week, next week 200BHP+ with exhaust mods? Will a BBR manifold be required?.....
