Fino a poco fa montavo 17x7 et43, quindi fitting paragonabile ai tuoi. Nessuna interferenza, nessuna necessità di rolling, guida più diretta e precisa. Poi se monti 4 incudini allora il discorso cambia.
Comunque gli inglesi bevono troppo, bisogna SEMPRE tenerne conto.

A reduced offset (wheel sticking out further than designed) will create a less than optimal relationship between the wheel's center line and the steering access, which would lead to loads (the weight of the car and road forces - and their interaction thereof) being distributed differently, thus placing more of the load on the inside portion of the tire tread. That, in turn, will lead to the wheel tending to force itself outwards from under the car, generating undue lateral load on the lower ball joints. That will wear them out much more quickly.

Symptoms: well, premature suspension wear.

Signs: loss of steering feel in a straight line, difficult steering with reduced control and precision during cornering - most obviously noticeable on long sweepers. It will feel as if the tires are "scrubbing" on the pavement rather than following a set line.
