Hi From Wales! - Dr. Eunos - 04-08-2013

Hi guys, I did quite a long introduction post yesterday thanking you all for such a warm welcome but it has many photos and some Nurburgring youtube links so I think maybe it is awaiting approval?

Welcome! Maybe the administrators could answer your question,i'm very curious to see the missing post Thumbup

Hi From Wales! - LucaJones - 04-08-2013

In my opinion it was not transmitted, and I am afraid it is lost.

The system disconnects you from the Forum after some time you do not perform an action requiring data transmission; if it takes long time to complete a post, the system see you as inactive.
In those cases, you just have to open a new page of the Forum, login and transmit the post that you arranged in the other page.

Hi From Wales! - karlitos - 04-08-2013

Hi From Wales! - Jo 195 - 04-08-2013

Have a nice time Thumbup

Hi From Wales! - Dr. Eunos - 04-08-2013

Possibly this is the case Luca Jones, but when i clicked to post a very quick message came on screen saying the post needed to be aproved by moderators so I assumed this was the case, no big problem really I will tell the history of Tina and I`s MX5 ownership in 4 separate episodes instead for you all Cool

But first many thanks to all of you for the very warm welcome on MX5Italia, and a very big thanks to Topone for the very kind offer to park our beloved Roadster at his courtyard in Monza for our few days at the autodromo, we will probably get in contact via message to get some details. We are staying in Bergamo when we come over and were planning to take a train to the circuit but his idea maybe a far better one Thumbup

Hi From Wales! - Dr. Eunos - 04-08-2013

OK, so typing as fast as my fingers will allow, our first car bought in May 2010 was a 1.8 Eunos Roadster V-SpecII in HU paint or `British Racing Green` with gold Watanabe 15 inch split rims, which we ran for nearly a year during which I prepared it for a Nurburgring trip which included fitting new Bilstien suspension, uprated brakes, Jackson Racing and the Engine from a Roadster RS-Ltd and gearbox from a NA model, Torsen Type 1 4.3:1

Here is a few photos including the Nurburgring and a link to in-car lap

Hope I was quick enough typing this time, stay tuned for the next episode....

OK also in 2011 we saw a car advertised for sale on Ebay and we though `this is so wrong, it just has to be right!` so we added another car to the stable. We had to collect the car from Scotland and we called it `Lightning MxQueen`:

We did a little preparation for a Nurburgrig trip:

Then I was offered to buy a rare Eunos Roadster R2-Ltd which had a supercharger fitted already, 2 MX5s is as many as we can own so the green car was sold and the R2 was brought home (see part 3)
